Centerpoint Energy is partnering with Camp Aldersgate to combat Spina Bifida with a fishing derby.
Volunteers and kids tossed their baited lines at Camp Aldersgate today.
The whole idea of the fishing derby help bring a smile to the kids' faces.
Volunteers say that's what it's all about.
Spina Bifida is a birth defect when the spinal canal doesn't entirely close around the spinal cord.
Signs of Depression
The Cleveland Clinic is urging people who may feel a bit down to look for warning signs of depression.
Doctor Scott Bea says many times someone else will notice a change in behavior before the depressed person does.
He says if that sad feeling doesn't go away after a couple of weeks, it could be time to talk to your doctor.
Doctor Bea says many times, a combination of psychotherapy and medication works best.
