The American Academy of Pediatrics is releasing updated recommendations for flu vaccine.
The academy recommends all children 6-months - and older be vaccinated.
Special efforts should also be made to vaccinate children who have chronic medical conditions like asthma, diabetes, or neurological disorders.
These conditions can increase the child's risk of flu complications.
The recommendations also include family members and others who are in contact with newborns and children with high-risk conditions.
Post-Partum depression and children
Researchers at John Hopkins University found a link between postpartum depression and below average height in children.
The study showed the children of depressed mothers are potentially forty-eight percent more likely to be short - than those with mothers who did not suffer post partum depression.
Maternal depression is linked to poor feeding practices and shorter breast feeding duration - which can affect the baby's growth hormones.
