In an impressive turn around, hospitals are now treating almost all heart attack patients within the recommended 90 minutes of arrival.

This information was found by a study in the American Heart Association journal.

Doctors involved say that Americans who have heart attacks can now be confident that they will be treated rapidly in almost every hospital in the country.

Medical marijuana

A local group has stated their concern over a new effort to legalize medical marijuana in Arkansas.

The Family Council Action Committee President Jerry Cox issued a statement today, saying he is convern the real agenda is to legalize marijuana for all purposes - and for the drug to be sold as common as tobacco.

The group, Arkansans for Compassionate Care, has less than a year to collect more than 62,000 signatures needed to get a medical marijuana initiative on the 2012 statewide ballot.
