Protecting Arkansans against the flu.
That was the goal behind today's mass flu clinic at the state fair grounds in little rock.
The Arkansas Department Of Health put on the clinic to immunize as many people as possible.
Everyone ages six months and older should get a flu shot every year.
The vaccine protects against the three flu viruses that will cause the most illness during the upcoming season.
Kohls Cares Program
Today, Kohl's Department Stores donated over $150,000 to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
The money will be used to fund a statewide media campaign to promote healthily habits for kids, like fitness, nutrition, dental health, and hand washing.
The department store has donated more than one point two million dollars to children's through its "Kohls Cares Program.”
