Medicaid Settlements

A settlement with a drug company Lands Arkansas with more than 4 million dollars to put towards its Medicaid program.

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel's office said Friday that Arkansas and other states reached the settlement with McKesson Corp.

Arkansas' share of the settlement is just over one million dollars.

Once matched with federal funds, the state will get 4-point-3 million to help fund the Medicaid program.

The states accused the drug wholesale company of setting inflated reimbursement rates.

HIV premature aging

While health care professionals make great strides in the treatment for HIV and AIDS they have discovered another issue.

Those who have spent decades battling the virus may be aging prematurely.

It appears both the virus and the medications that suppress it take a long-term toll on the body.

As a result, many are having to deal with a whole other set of health concerns.

To health officials, some 34 million people worldwide are living with HIV, and 2.5 million were infected just last year.

Let’s Move Event

First Lady Michelle Obama, decked out in workout gear, brought an entourage of famous athletes and her "Let's Move" fitness agenda to London.

She helped celebrate the start of the summer Olympics by encouraging kids to exercise.

David Beckham, Nadia Comaneci, and Carl Lewis were among the athletic elite who joined Mrs. Obama.

Even members of the 2012 U.S. Track and Field team seemed a little winded.

The first lady is encouraging people across the U.S. to get together and throw their own "Let's Move" parties on Saturday.
