Each week we tell you what doctors at St. Vincent health clinics are seeing so you'll know what to look for.

Dr. Nosheen Mian at St. Vincent's Wildwood Clinic is seeing a lot of chronic pain that seems to be aggravated by the weather.

Here's the deal - if you can predict the weather because of pain in your back or knees - then maybe you're on to something. Doctors say a change in barometric pressure can produce changes in our bodies that can be painful.

In one study, two thirds of those who have chronic joint pain said the weather has an effect on their pain, even before stormy weather arrives.

So with that said, here's when you should see a doctor. If you have a joint injury, unable to use your joints - or you have intense pain and sudden swelling - then it's time.

There are all sorts of treatment - from pain meds to heating pads.

Nurse Lashond Hiss at the St. Vincent clinic at the Bryant Walmart is doing a lot of testing for TB or tuberculosis.

Also, flu-like symptoms are constantly nagging people. And nurse Callie Fletcher at the St. Vincent Clinic - Wildwood, says there have been no confirmed flu cases at her clinic, but plenty of people feel like they have it.

They're dealing with things like, sore throat, aches and pains, congestion, chills, coughing, headache, fever and fatigue.

You may have some or all of these symptoms - so get checked out by a doctor.
