U.S. Marshals have arrested Arthur Pounds. Marshals got information that he had a state court appearance scheduled. He showed up and they arrested him afterwards.
Pounds is a convicted sex offender. They started their search for 46-year-old Arthur Pounds during "Operation Guardian Angel," a sex offender sweep with the Little Rock Police Department.
Marshals made 11 arrests total, including sex sex offenders who hadn't registered. However, Pounds elluded marshals during the sweep.
