The most popular websites these days are all about linking you with other people.  Websites like Myspace, Facebook and Youtube let you express yourself to the rest of the world.  But a relatively new website is going for a more personal approach to networking.

For years, artwork, notes and grocery lists have all stuck to one place.  But now technology is ready to take that place into cyberspace.  Stixy.com is your virtual refrigerator door.  The free site gives you your own space on the web to express yourself and show off your family's work while connecting to friends and family around the world.

Create your free account, and then you'll get a blank space to make your own.  Jot down a note for a family member and post it on the wall or add photos to jazz up the space and a to-do list to help organize your day.  You can even upload documents for others to look at and collaborate on.

To allow other users to edit and design your digital fridge door, add e-mail addresses, and your friends and family will get personal e-mails inviting them to join.

Once you're done dragging, dropping and designing, publish your wall and the site will provide you with a web address of the finished product that you can post on your own site or e-mail to your friends.

Stixy.com is a digital alternative to cluttering the front of your fridge, no magnets required.
