Butch, it isnt only gun owners that are killing people. Its the common criminal thats killing people and with more than just guns. So you think it is ok for people that are law abiding people to lose a priviledge and have their constitutional rights violated in a piss poor effort to control violent crimes? Thats what this is about to some, like me. It is about violent crimes control and gun control is not the answer. I have many guns and never, not once in over 6 decades, have I seen a single gun of mine get up, walk outside and shoot someone on its own, so there, guns DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. People with sick, twisted, demented, evil, devious, etc. mind frames kill people. I am tired of hearing this shat about "guns kill people". Show me one gun that has ever killed someone on its on accord. There isnt one. Show me a cracked up nut job, "mentally defective person" (what a crock of a term), a repeat criminal, etc. that has killed someone. That list os a long one. Again, I'll say this one more time. GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE, F'ED UP PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE, and not with just guns. Everytime the government outlaws things, the criminals simply resort to another source to do the deed.

Every gun owner is whining to keep there rights to have them. But what are their actions saying. Gun owners are shooting and killing people. A lot of people are getting tired of it. Get on line and look at the people organizing to slow this down. Maybe It would be hard to collect all the guns. The thing is though the ammo can be taken off the shelf making them useless for most parts. Keep on killing people and shooting your mouths off about your desire to kill and watch. You'll have no one to blame but gun owners.

Trying to reduce violence by banning certain guns to me is like trying to cure the common cold by regulating facial tissues. The root cause is not found in the weapon of choice... it is in the criminal. School children were killed in China by a man with a knife. Criminals will always have access to weapons of choice. Law abiding, constitutionally protected citizenry is a deterrent against violence. Our constitution is basically our only weapon against a government of oppression... oh wait, how many rights have been infringed on by legislation or judicial opinion... My opinions for thought........
