LITTLE ROCK, AR - The House and Senate both passed bills approving governor Mike Beebe's $4.7 billion dollar budget on Friday bringing the three week fiscal session to a close.

The House approved a Senate version of the budget bill 54-27-16. The Senate approved a House version 27-5.

Negotiations on Thursday to revive attempts to pass non-budgetary legislation, including a repeal of a tax break for truckers and ending mandatory parole for certain sex offenses, ended without an agreement.
