When it gets right down to it, whose business is anyway who is gay and who isn't? Lilred-you are right about AR, they like to stick their nose in people's business worse than any place on the planet. Live and let live I say. My business is mine, yours is yours. Do what you will, harm your none!

@blackandproud....I was making a small statement regarding the same equal rights gays want and interacial couples who get crap for being together. I have lived in many States in my life and AR. by far takes the cake on closet racisim, in your face racisim, prejudice and judgemental people I have ever met. Its disturbing that we live in a free country (so to speak) with more rights then other countries and we take it for granted as well as have ignorant people with closed minds can't learn to get along. Equality for all...period. @ Backinaction....I couldn't agree more with you

Being black isnt a civil right either, but the blacks sure as hell think it is. Being gay and asking for equality is the same as being black and asking for it. Blackandproud, you are not doing your race any good by the ignorance you speak.

sparrowhawk, well said. these gay people are trying to tie their crusade into civil rights and its irritating. being gay is not a civil rights issue. it is a personal problem that is getting too much media.

Our nation is already going to hell in a handbasket. Who cares if gays and lesbians want to marry. I don't and to all of you who feel its a sin..remember you are a sinner too. Let God handle his business..you handle yours. Its not going to change our life in anyway if gays marry. Live your own life and do right by others and you will rise. Judge, hate and discriminate will only cause damage and make you ugly. We need more love and peace. Let those who want to marry, marry. Shouldn't matter that their gay or interracial.

One thing you are over-looking in all this crap is why should they be able to marry and get tax-breaks when single people can't? What's wrong is wrong and what's right is right it's your choice to do what you want. But how you can equate it with racial issues I haven't figured out. It has nothing to do with ethnicity. It's about personal issues and they should keep it that way.

Well, both Democrats and Republicans have always been slow to embrace civil rights, just look to 1957 and Orval Faubus and the Democrats then. History showed they were wrong then, and history will show that these candidates were wrong as well.
