Politicians are corrupt everywhere; they are just more open about it in Lonoke County. LOL A recent sherriff and his wife, a mayor, and they boast being one of the meth capitols of AR. Plus a body dumped there a while back, his mom is a friend of mine, and says there is no investigation into it. Glad I don't live in that county! Oh, and the huge bust of an older man growing 3 plants; can't forget about that shining achievement!

Has anyone looked in to, or even QUESTIONED the voting practices at Lonoke County?!? The Lonoke Democrat Newspaper reported that early voters had to use a paper ballot because a constable race was left off the ballot. They supposedly have it fixed for tomorrow, but all the early voters who had to use the paper ballot had to write their: name, date of birth, phone number and address on an envelope(that a poll worker initialed), place their completed ballot in a blank envelope, then THAT went into the envelope with their personal information on it! Does this not contradict the right to a private vote? When will Lonoke County get new people in on their election commission? If it's not races being left off of the ballot, it's missed votes, then a "public" re-count after they meet behind closed doors (seems questionable), they are almost ALWAYS the last to report. The election practices at Lonoke County are DEFINITELY NOT above reproach...is this acceptable?!? For me, it's not!
