I do not care what he did in his personal life as long as it didn't affect his job as Attorney General.Bill Clinton did it as was elected twice as Governor, i am not saying what he did was right but Dusty McDaniel has done a great job as Attorney General. He would have made a great Governor also.Hopefully he will run in the future.

It would appear some people are not seeing the full picture, including the media. McDaniel's decision to end his campaign for Governor was not his own. He had full intentions to run and was not until the Democratic Party of Arkansas told him not to run. Already, earling polling showed that McDaniel would lose to either Republican Candidate (Curtis Coleman or Asa Hutchinson) in the General Election. The Democratic Party knew this and replaced McDaniel with Bill Halter. This is obvious due to Halter informally announcing he would run for Governor on the same day as McDaniel quitting his run. The Democratic Party is so determined to win the Governor's Office, they are willing to throw their "Golden Boy" under the bus. The media really needs to press this and get to the bottom of it. I would suspect that Halter jumped the gun with his "announcement" and caught the Democratic Party of Arkansas "with their pants down" ....sorry, but it just seemed to fit.

Honesty was not his motivation for revealing his affair. It was being revealed in his girlfriend's divorce trial. He did not "man up" until he had no choice, but to go public. And I suspect the losing defendents in the cases he had in common with this woman may be considering legal action, wondering if they were denied a fair trial. Good riddance, our state has an abundance of liars, crooks, and other assorted disreputable types in office already.

He should be FIRED. It's not just about being unfaithful to his marriage - he was unfaithful to the state of Arkansas!

Back in Bill's day there wasn't all this social media / instant spreading of news i.e. Internet crap and so politicians could actually keep secrets. Now we got people wanting to make volcanoes out of mole hills, I'm not condoning the behavior, just making a point, if you wanna be in politics nowadays you best keep ur nose clean or a reporter will be glad to blow it for you.

I personally don't care for the man, and I'm not a obama democrat, but the reason he doesn't get a pass like slick willy, is that Mr. McDaniel has more guts, courage and scruples in his little finger than clinton can find in whole body. It's called, asking for forgivness and repentance. Mr. McDaniel, in the right time, will get his chance, and slick willY? Well, there's a place for unrepentant souls like him. He'll get his. Maybe not on this earth, but.......... P.S. Also, maybe it's because he loves Arkansas and American more than clinton EVER did! Clinton is alot like obama, it's all about me, me, me!!!!

Bill Clinton was a lifelong womanizer and adulterer that lied under oath about it and he's still the biggest star in the democratic party. Why does Dustin get relieved by the democratic party for just one little fling?
