Obama, Romney clash on economy in first debate

In a showdown at close quarters, President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney sparred aggressively in their first campaign debate Wednesday night over taxes, deficits and strong steps needed to create jobs in a sputtering national economy. "The status quo is not going to cut it," declared the challenger.

No more comments since last night? Well, I've got one - the baseball playoffs start today! Heck with these two; I'm sick of hearing about both of them!

According to a story on my Comcast home page, CNN reported Romney won with a 67% margin ( whatever that means ), and CNN is a liberal news outlet run by Democrats. Fox News Channel also gave Romney the win. And showed tweets from prominent Democrats agreeing. I didn't watch the debate; but seen the highlights, and I have to agree, Romney won hands down. I'm with itsjustme; I'm not a big Romney fan either, my religious beliefs do not agree with the Morman doctrine. Nor do they agree with anyone that attends Wright's church. I'm voting ( as always it seems ) for the lesser of two evils. Like they said 4 years ago - I'll keep my money, my guns, and my freedoms; you keep the "change". And the only change I've seen is higher unemployment, a higher national debt, countless people have lost their homes the last 4 years, and companies that do not deserve it getting bailed out. Think about that sir! And I wouldn't be calling people idiots if my grammar and spelling were that bad either.

thaone, name one positive thing Obama has done in the last 4 years. I'll wait for your reply. I've never said I was a Romney fan because I do not know what he really has to offer. But I damn sure know what Obama has to offer........... absolutely nothing but more debt, more unemployment, more welfare and a joke of a health care program to name a few. Obama said "if you want to be president, you owe America the truth." Why dont he tell the truth. For beginners about himself. He is a joke that has cost us taxpayers more money than any other president in history. thaone, I'm glad to see that because Obama is "dark skinned" that you support him. It makes clear that idiots do run together.

thaone, did Obama make a case for anything? Hell no he didnt. He was basically left standing there babbling last night, like he always does. This idiot needs to go. I'm not saying Romney is the best choice we have, but compared to what Obama has done to this country, I doubt he can do any worse.
