Could Arkansas congressman Tom Cotton be on the presidential ticket in 2016? While it may be far too early in the Dardanelle native's political career for that to happen, one political pundit tossed around the idea during this morning's Fox News Sunday broadcast.

Cotton joined a panel that included liberal columnist Juan Williams and Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol. At the end of the segment, Kristol, who was chuckling at the time, said the GOP should go with a Marco Rubio and Tom Cotton presidential ticket in 2016.

While the comment may have been in good fun, it certainly shows that Cotton is a rising start within the Republican ranks.

Cotton was on the show to discuss President Obama's role in potentially halting automatic spending cuts before they take effect.

Cotton argued defense cuts shouldn't be an option and that overall tax reform was the solution. He added it'll likely take many months to negotiate.

It won't matter who the Republican candidates are if they don't offer more FREE STUFF to this society of entitlement losers. They must give out more free stuff and promise to ignore existing laws if they want to be elected by the most ignorant electorate in history. Hey, it worked for the democrats. They sold their whole country out to gain power.

I don't know, but i REALLY LIKE RUBIO...but then again, the media kept insisting on Romney being the front runner and I didn't like him...so many were so taken with Perry, everyone hollaring for Christi....I think we need to think long and hard before allowing a person to be "called". I am so worried about America...I hope it can be rehabilitated.
