LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas attorney general's office has rejected a proposed constitutional amendment that would require members of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission be elected.

The Times Record reports that Attorney General Dustin McDaniel on Thursday ruled that there were too many unclear elements in the proposal put forth by the group Sportsmen 2010.

Game and Fish Commission members are appointed by the governor.

The group says it will address McDaniel's concerns and resubmit the proposal.
