LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas is getting more than $4 million to put toward the state Medicaid program from a settlement with a drug company accused of inflating prices.

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel's office said Friday that Arkansas and other states reached the settlement with McKesson Corp.

Arkansas' share of the settlement is $1.05 million. Once matched with federal funds, the state will get $4.3 million to help fund the Medicaid program.

The states accused the drug wholesale company of setting inflated reimbursement rates.

McDaniel says 30 states and the federal government sued McKesson. The federal government reached a $187 million settlement with McKesson in April.
