Arkansas State Fair Day 2: Gates Open at 11 a.m.

Play, ride and eat your way along the midway all day long!
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansans are gathering at the state fairgrounds for all the fun and excitement to be found at the 2013 Arkansas State Fair & Livestock Show.

Along with the twists and turns you'll find on the rides, you can also try your luck at carnival games and tempt your taste buds at all the food concessions (there's much more than the standard corn dogs, funnel cakes and cotton candy).

You might want to take an umbrella since the weather will be mostly cloudy with a chance for rain. The afternoon high temperature will be in the low 80's.

To get in the gate it will cost $8 for adults, $4 for children aged 6-12 and seniors aged 60+. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
