CLARKRIDGE, AR - The Baxter County Sheriff's Office says a man was found in a vehicle in 10 to 12 feet of water off the end of the courtesy dock at the Calamity Beach boat launch area, which is in the Clarkridge area of Baxter County.

A release from the sheriff's office says someone reported seeing the vehicle in the water. A diver was sent down and discovered the body inside the vehicle.

Sheriff John Montgomery says the body and the vehicle have been recovered and that the vehicle is registered to a person reported be missing in October, 2012.

The body has been sent to State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock for identification and to determine the cause of death.
