Cash, Choices and Classes: College 101 for Arkansas Students

New website from the state Department of Higher Education.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Thinking about going to college but don't know where to start?

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education has a new website to get high schoolers ready for college.

The College 101 Series is designed for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to get students and their parents in the know on all things college.

There's information on everything from developing good study habits, timelines to keep you on track, types of colleges you could attend and valuable information about financial aid.

It's broken down by age, so families can know what to start doing based on their student's grade level.

College 101 consists of three different curriculums:
  • A Discourse: all-school assembly lecture series
  • Freshman Seminar: freshman only group meetings
  • Good2Go Group: sophomore-senior group meetings
