An El Dorado incineration facility is planning an expansion that will bring new jobs to the South Arkansas city by 2016.
Clean Harbors made the announcement about its new project Wednesday at the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce quarterly Economic Outlook Luncheon
Company officials say 80-million dollars will go toward an incineration project for Clean Harbors and is expected to be completed over the next three years, adding those new jobs.
Other cities within the county gave updates at the luncheon. El Dorado Mayor Frank Hash told the crowd the Atwoods
* store is nearing completion, a TJ Maxx store will be coming to the city, and there will be renovations to the city's mall.
El Dorado Chamber of Commerce officials say luncheons like these are proving to have an impact on the city.
"The impact is different than anything else we do because of the regional focus," says Henry Florsheim, President of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.
The next Economic Outlook Luncheon will be in May.
