Arkansas power outages from the winter storm are so far impacting just a few areas.
As of 12: 30 this afternoon, about 2,000 Entergy customers and 100 First Electric Cooperatives members are without power in Independence, Sharp and Pope counties (Entergy) and White, Cleburne and Prairie counties (Co-op).
Earlier today in Northwest Arkansas, there was a partial outage at a Rogers Walmart store, according to SWEPCO.
Electric companies say ice can be a dual threat; pushing down power lines, while also breaking tree branches.
