New State Highway Maps Distributed Across Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, AR - If you're traveling anywhere in Arkansas this summer, you'll want a copy of the new state highway map with you.

The 2013 version is available for free from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD). More than one million maps are expected to be distributed.   

You'll find them at any Highway Department District Headquarters across the state and at all Arkansas Welcome Centers. They're also available at the AHTD Central Office at 10324 Interstate 30 in Little Rock, by phone at (501) 569-2444 or online (click here).

To get a copy by mail, send your request to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, State Map Division, P.O. Box 2261, Little Rock, AR 72203-2261.

Inside you'll find the latest roadway and city population changes, as well as more detailed maps of popular Arkansas cities plus a chart showing mileage between cities and towns.

The map also features a Directory of Public Recreation Areas featuring State Parks, and Historic Memorials, National Parks, National Forest Recreation Areas and Corps of Engineers Parks.
