Police: Man Shot Nine Times in Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF, AR - Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left a man with nine gunshot wounds.

It happened Sunday night around 9:30.

Police say officers called to 615 South Belmont Drive found Jarmar Williams lying on the ground.

He was was rushed to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) where doctors revealed to police how many times he had been shot.

Police say Marco Bankston of 615 South Belmont and another man were taken in for questioning.

As of 9:00 this morning, Williams remained in the ICU at JRMC in critical condition. 

Detectives are following up on leads in this investigation.
