Red Cross Helping Arkansas Tornado and Flood Victims

Emergency shelters open in Montgomery and Scott counties.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The American Red Cross Arkansas chapter is helping the state's newest storm victims.

The agency is assisting Arkansans impacted by last week's tornadoes and flash floods.

The Red Cross is providing emergency disaster assistance for food and clothing for Garland, Montgomery, Polk and Scott County storm victims at the following locations:

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Boles Arkansas Southern Baptist Church
Highway 71 and Barker Road

9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Garland County Office of Emergency Management
401 Mid-America Boulevard
Hot Springs

An emergency shelter is open at the following location for those affected by the Montgomery and Scott Counties flash flood:

Boles Community Center
Highway 71 and Chris Freeman Circle

Individuals in other areas of the state in need of disaster assistance from Thursday, Friday or Saturday’s storms are asked to call (501) 748-1021.
