State Representative Joins 4th District Congressional Race

Bruce Westerman made official announcement Tuesday morning in Hot Springs.
HOT SPRINGS, AR - Another candidate is entering the Arkansas 4th District congressional race.

State representative and Republican Bruce Westerman is serving his second term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 22, which includes most of Garland County.

Westerman began reaching out to supporters this morning via social media, hours before the official announcement of his candidacy for U.S. Congress at a 10:00 rally in Hot Springs.

The campaign kick-off rally was held at the Garland County Republican Headquarters at 10:00.

On Monday, another Republican, Lt. Gov. Mark Darr, announced his campaign for the 4th District seat.

Democrat Janis Kent Percefull, a Hot Springs historian and educator, announced her 4th District congressional campaign last week.
