NORTHERN ARKANSAS - Ten inches of snow has fallen in North Arkansas's Fulton County.
That's the highest amount recorded by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock after a Spring snowstorm rolled into the region on Thursday night.
The NWS says four to six inch accumulations were common from Mountain Home (Baxter County) eastward through Salem (Fulton County), Melbourne (Izard County) Hardy (Sharp County), Pocahontas (Randolph County) and Paragould (Greene County).
The heavy wet snow caused some power outages.
At least an inch of snow fell north and east of Fayetteville (Washington County), Conway (Faulkner County) and West Memphis (Crittenden County).
Farther south, this was mainly a rain event, with a period of sleet initially.
