Hogs Ready for Run in Omaha

Arkansas faces Kent State Saturday at 4 PM in the College World Series
The Diamond Hogs are less than an hour away from a hopeful run in the College World Series.

The Razorbacks open against Mid-American Conference foe Kent State.

2 stud pitchers, Arkansas hurler DJ Baxendale (7-5, 3.18 ERA) and Kent State's David Starn (11-3, 2.21 ERA) highlight today's match up.

First pitch is set for 4 PM at TD Ameritrade Park.  The game will air on ESPN.

***UPDATE***

Arkansas beats Kent State 8-1.  The Hogs will face the Florida/South Carolina winner Monday night at 8 PM. 

DJ Baxendale won the pitching battle.  The former Sylvan Hills star finished with a fantastic line, 6.1 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 5 K, picking up the win.
