SEC Media Days - Day 2 in the Books

Arkansas 1 of 6 schools to take the stage on Day 2 of SEC Media Days
The addition of Missouri and Texas A&M to the SEC didn't just affect the regular season, it has also modified Media Days.  The conference now sits at 14 teams, which means a whopping 6 (!) schools took the podium today.

Our focus was the Hogs, and head coach John L. Smith, quarterback Tyler Wilson, running back Knile Davis, and linebacker Tank Wright provided plenty of material.

It seems that it will take some time before the team is able to put their awful off-season behind them.  Many questions dealt with the eventful spring in Fayetteville.  Here's my story on how the team is handling the extra attention.

Also, almost everyone in Hoover agreed that Arkansas has one of the top backfields in the country.  Someone asked Davis straight-up if he was the top running back in the nation, here's his reply.

And the story I found most interesting is that many of the players still keep in contact with former head coach Bobby Petrino.  Wilson and Davis each said they spoke to him several times since his firing.  Davis said you could, "hear the hurt in his voice."

Day 3 may have the most attendance with an appearance from defending national champion Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

They'll take the stage at 8:30 AM alongside Tennessee, before Georgia and Ole Miss will round out the week at 10:50 AM.
