South Alabama defeated UALR by a 10-2 final score on Wednesday afternoon at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field in the opening round of the Sun Belt Tournament.

The University of Central Arkansas Bears rallied once Wednesday but could not pull it off a second time in falling 5-3 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the first round of the 2013 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament.

The Arkansas State baseball team scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning, but left the tying on run on base as the Red Wolves lost to Troy 3-2 in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
