LITTLE ROCK, AR – George McDonald, who was named the Wide Receivers Coach back in December, has resigned from the Razorbacks coaching staff.

McDonald came to Arkansas from Miami, where he was the Wide Receivers Coach for the past two years. Bruce Feldman, with CBS Sports, reports that McDonald is expected to be named the Offensive Coordinator at Syracuse.

After his resignation, Coach Bielema released the following statement:

“I have accepted George McDonald’s resignation from the Arkansas football team as he has decided to pursue other career opportunities. When you set out to assemble one of the top coaching staffs in the country, the group will consist of individuals who are highly respected and highly sought after. I have always tried to hire coaches who possess the qualities and ambition to move up in our profession. I wish George the best of luck in the future as an offensive coordinator at a major university.”

Can't keep the Arkansas Veterans home maintained or figure out how to maintain medicare and medicaid but the State sure can figure out how to spend taxpayers money to pay a bunch of coaches big fat salaries. YEAYHYEAH REVENUE RIGHT? More jobs and industry would bring revenue. Fix the roads, clean up the cities outside of the downtown area and riverfront and see what happens. I bet the Governor and Mayors never ride the streets and roads to see how some people live. WAR EAGLE AND ROLL TIDE
