Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Saint Joseph's junior forward C.J. Aiken will forego his final year of eligibility and test his basketball talents at the next level.

"After lengthy meetings with C.J. Aiken and his family, C.J. has decided to pursue a career in professional basketball," said Saint Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli in a statement. "There will always be a place in my heart for C.J. I wish him well in all his future endeavors."

During the 2012-13 season, Aiken posted averages of 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and a team-leading 2.7 blocks over 31 contests. He led the Atlantic 10 conference in blocked shots (80) over the course of the season.
