Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Tyler Zeller has been diagnosed with a broken cheekbone and a concussion.

The 22-year-old rookie, who took a blow to the face late in Monday's game against the Clippers, underwent a CT scan at Stanford Hospital on Tuesday which revealed a non-displaced fracture of his left orbital bone.

Zeller was originally diagnosed with a left cheek contusion, and though he did not return in Cleveland's 108-101 victory, x-rays taken at Staples Center proved negative.

In addition, the concussion diagnosis has landed him in the league's concussion protocol process, where the North Carolina product will be monitored by Cavs team physician Dr. Richard Parker and Cleveland Clinic Sports Health.

There is no timetable for Zeller's return, but he will not play on Wednesday as the Cavaliers take on the Warriors in Oakland.
