Build yourself an open shed. Sit on it and by happy. I have lots of older type people count on my fishing ability. What with our government some elected they need them. Anything I do I am like the mail man. Rain, shine, sleet, or snow. If your on assistance finding it hard to make it I would be glad to share. I also catch lots of bream in the summer.

I understand your love of fishing; but I'm waiting on warm dry weather so I can put some miles on the scooter! Call what guys in? I personally know some people that went to NY for Sandy; they helped feed people, they washed clothes for people, and they sent a chain saw crew, among other disaster relief efforts. And they slept on sleeping bags at a church, while FEMA and Red Cross people slept in $300 a night hotels. Careful which charities you give to!
