The front that has been stalled over Arkansas the last couple of days will wash out across the State with lower rain chances and hotter temperatures. Lots of clouds across the State today, but not much rain around Central Arkansas. Showers and a few storms have been concentrated across South Central Arkansas today with some locally heavy rain in a couple of spots. These showers will diminish during the evening hours. Once again, quite a temperature difference across the front with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s across Northern Arkansas, with upper 80s to near 90 South with high humidity. Any remaining showers will die off during the evening hours, then mostly cloudy with some patchy fog by Friday morning. Becoming partly sunny Friday, but showers not expected to develop during the afternoon. Mainly dry, but hot Saturday with highs around 90. A front approaches from the North Sunday with only a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms possible. Milder and less humid air moves in behind the front for early next week.
