A cold front will arrive Friday bringing showers and a shot of much colder air in for the weekend. Rain will be most likely during the morning hours, then will taper off during the early afternoon. The actual front will push through during the evening hours. Winds will pick up behind the front and temperatures will drop quickly Friday night with lows dropping into the upper 20s. This weekend will feature some of the coldest air of the season with highs barely topping the 40 degree mark Saturday and Sunday. Low temperatures will drop into the low to mid 20s Sunday morning with many spots into the 10s. A weak storm system will approach Monday morning bringing some wintry precipitation with cold air still in place. For more on the colder weather and chance for wintry precipitation, check out the FOX16 weather blog.
