Warming Back Up

A slow warm up will make it feel more like Summer over the next few days.
August begins much like July ended with clouds and much below average temperatures. July ended up tied for the 3rd coolest July on record for Little Rock with an average temperature of 77.5 degrees. This is the coolest July average temperature in Little Rock since 1906. A slow warm up will make it feel more like Summer over the next few days. Highs will warm back up into the 90s by early next week with fairly high humidity. Saturday starts off mostly cloudy, but some sunshine will break through by the afternoon. A couple of stray showers will be possible with daytime heating. More sunshine will help to boost highs into the upper 80s, making it feel a little more like Summer, although this is still cooler than average for early August. A gradual warming trend will continue into next week with decreasing rain chances.
