Humidity Returns, Few Showers

More humid air overspreads Arkansas for the weekend as tropical moisture associated with a weak upper air disturbance surges Northward.  Heat and humidity increase for the weekend with highs around 90 and an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm Saturday. A stray shower is possible overnight Saturday with lows around 70. The upper disturbance passing over Louisiana and Mississippi will help to trigger a few mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms Sunday.  Cloud cover will be more widespread Sunday keeping high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s, but humidity will be quite high.
