Fall Arrives with Cooler Weather

It was a hot last day of Summer, but a cold front drops temperatures for the first day of Fall.
It was a hot last weekend of Summer with highs in the 90s for both Saturday and Sunday. A cold front brought a few showers into the region Sunday, but drier and cooler air is beginning to slide in. Lows will drop into the upper 50s overnight. High pressure moves in for the first day of Fall and we will see a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s. Tomorrow night will be even cooler with lows dropping into the middle 50s with areas to the north dropping into the 40s. Temperatures will begin to warm up for the end of the week as high pressure slides eastward. We will see highs back into the lower 80s with clouds increasing as well. There is a slight chance of rain for the weekend as a disturbance may head through the region, but otherwise enjoy a dry and comfortable week!
