The center of Isaac is moving through Missouri this evening, with lingering showers and some thunderstorms across Central Arkansas. The greatest concentrations of storm are over Northeast and Eastern Arkansas, with a few fast moving isolated showers elsewhere. Rain coverage will gradually diminish late this evening, but a few spotty showers will continue overnight. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s. Brief gusty winds and heavy downpours are possible with any shower or storm. The overall severe weather threat through tonight is low.
Saturday stays a little unsettled with some scattered showers and thunderstorms developing with daytime heating. A few showers may be heavy. More in the way of sunny breaks will allow highs to heat up into the upper 80s.
The rest of your labor Day weekend looks mostly dry with only a slim chance of an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be back up into the 90s Sunday and Monday. High humidity will push heat index values back over 100 making for a hot unofficial end to the Summer season.
