After enduring warm temperatures in the mid 80's, we're tracking a line of thunderstorms that is moving through Southern Arkansas. As these thunderstorms move slowly northward this evening they will weaken and likely just bring a quick shower and some lightning to parts of Central Arkansas.  A gusty wind can't be ruled out either.  The best time for encountering rain will be near the dinner hour or slightly afterwards.

Later tonight we'll have more clouds than stars with temperatures stumbling to the 60's.

The next chance of rain won't come into the state until late Tuesday and into Wednesday morning.  Besides the rain and warm weather our patten will not change too much as we get into the latter half of the work week, but there are signs that next week could be different.  You can read more about it on our FOX 16 Weather Blog.
