Hot temperatures will continue into the weekend, but not as hot as the dangerous record heat that we experienced on Friday. Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 90s to near 100. Heat Index values will top out at 100-105, below heat advisory criteria. Little change is expected for Sunday with lots of sun and highs once again in the upper 90s to near 100. Gulf moisture will increase somewhat on Monday with a few more clouds expected, but any afternoon showers will be very isolated. Highs will be in the upper 90s.
