LITTLE ROCK, AR – Hailstones ranging in size from a dime to a golf ball fell in Arkansas Wednesday afternoon as a storm front passed through.

The National Weather Service reports that wind speeds at the Stuttgart airport were recorded at 86mph. Three hangers at the airport were damaged in the storm.

Elsewhere, storm reports were contained mainly to trees and power lines down. At 5:30pm, Entergy reported less than 6,000 customers were without power across Arkansas.

Tornado Warnings were also issued in Prairie, Monroe, Arkansas, and Phillips Counties. Law enforcement in Phillips reported seeing a tornado on the ground.
