Labor Day Forecast

Showers and a few thunderstorms were around the area for the weekend, but we'll see quieter conditions for Labor Day.
Upper-level trough that brought showers and a few thunderstorms into the area on over the weekend is moving out of the region. We'll see much quieter conditions for Labor Day with a little bit more sunshine as well. Highs will be in the lower 90s. A front approaches the area late Monday into Tuesday bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for Tuesday. It will be quieter for the middle of the week with highs in the middle 90s. A stray afternoon shower or storm can't be ruled out. A cold front will begin to approach the region by Friday and showers and thunderstorms will become possible once again. Cooler air looks to slide in behind the front dropping temperatures back into the 80s for Sunday.

Tuesday: Partly sunny and hot with a chance for thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90s.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny and hot. Isolated afternoon t-storm. Highs in the mid 90s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot. Isolated afternoon t-storm. Highs in the mid 90s. 
Friday: Mostly sunny and hot. Chance for thunderstorms for the afternoon. Highs in the middle 90s. 
Saturday: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Highs in the lower 90s.
Sunday: Lingering AM shower possible. Highs in the upper 80s.
