Staying Warm, Some Thunder Possible

A weak cold front will move into Central Arkansas today with a few showers and some isolated thunderstorms. Although storms will be isolated, a strong storm or two during the afternoon should not be ruled out. The main threat with storms would be some gusty winds and possible hail. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. the front will push South by the evening hours with rain chances rapidly diminishing by sunset. Becoming partly cloudy with some patchy fog tonight with lows in the mid to upper 40s. Thursday will be partly sunny but really not any cooler with highs in the mid 60s. A stronger storm system will approach Friday with showers and some thunderstorms by Friday night. There may be a severe threat associated with the storms late Friday, but it is still too soon to determine the potential for tornadoes or where the greatest threat will be
