Labor Day Forecast

Showers and a few thunderstorms were around the area for the weekend, but we'll see quieter conditions for Labor Day.
Disturbance that brought showers and thunderstorms into the area on Saturday is moving out of the region. Clouds kept highs in the 80s for Saturday, but 90s are back in the forecast. A few scattered showers and isolated thunder are likely into Sunday, but coverage will be less. Conditions will be mainly quiet for Labor Day, but an isolated shower or thunderstorms for the afternoon can't be ruled out. A front approaches the area late Monday into Tuesday. This brings the chance for thunderstorms back into the region. This front will lift back northward and we'll see quieter conditions for most of the rest of the week. Upper-level ridging begins to take over and highs will warm back up into the middle 90s.
