Cool Night, Weekend Heat Up

A clear and rather comfortably cool night tonight, but some hotter temperatures for the weekend
A clear and rather comfortably cool night tonight, but some hotter temperatures for the weekend. The Arkansas Travelers are playing tonight at Dickey Stephens Park in North Little Rock with great weather for this evening. Skies will be mostly clear with temperatures cooling from the low 80s at 7PM to the mid 70s by 10 PM. High pressure is building in behind the cold front that brought the rain and storms yesterday with drier air. Temperatures behind the front are cooler than yesterday with highs generally in the low to mid 80s. Temperatures across the State range from near 80 to the mid 80s. The humidity is dropping with the drier air moving in, making for a more pleasant feel to the air. Mainly clear skies and unseasonably cool tonight with lows dropping into the low to mid 60s by Friday morning. Lots of sunshine Friday, but warmer. Southwest winds push hotter air into the State by Saturday and Sunday with highs well into the 90s both days. The heat won't last that long though as another front moves through Sunday night. This will bring another round of unseasonably mild air for mid Summer.

Tonight: Mostly clear and comfortable. Lows in the low to mid 60s.
Friday: Mostly sunny with highs around 90.
Saturday: Partly sunny and hotter with highs in the mid to upper 90s.
Sunday: Partly sunny and hot with an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. Highs in the upper 90s.
Monday: Partly cloudy with a morning shower possible. Not as hot with highs near 90.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and unseasonably cool with showers possible. Highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with a shower possible. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
