Update: Conway Woman Arrested in Boyfriend's Stabbing Death

CONWAY, Ark. - A local woman is behind bars after being arrested in the stabbing death of her boyfriend.

The Conway Police Department (CPD) says Octavia Johnson, 31, is accused in the killing of Jeremy Smith, 31.

It happened Sunday night on South Ash Street.

The CPD says witnesses reported seeing Johnson chasing Smith with a knife before stabbing him.

The Faulkner County Detention Center website shows she was booked into the jail around 1:30 a.m. Monday on a charge of Murder 2nd Degree.

CONWAY, Ark. - The Conway Police Department (CPD) is investigating a homicide after a man is found stabbed to death. 

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.  

According to the CPD's Facebook page, the suspect is the victim's girlfriend and the killing happened during a domestic incident.

Police say the woman is being questioned, but they have not yet confirmed if she has been arrested.
