To date, there's no cure for asthma, though it can be controlled with treatment. Finding out what triggers your asthma and avoiding contact with it is the first step to relief. Sometimes, however, the trigger is unknown or unavoidable. It's important that you get treatment from a medical doctor. Inhalers or pills may be prescribed as preventive treatment. Or, you may simply need to take medication at the onset of an attack. Your doctor can answer your questions and help treat your symptoms of asthma.
