If you're one of the many people dealing with infertility, you're not alone. Not being able to conceive can cause isolation, confusion, anguish, depression, and feelings of inadequacy. Since this is a relatively personal situation, you might not always be comfortable talking about it with friends or family. You might consider group therapy to help you through this difficult time. You'll be able to discuss your feelings with others who're going through similar situations. Learn how others cope with the trials of infertility. You can also talk about procedures and treatments with people who've been through them before. This can ease some of your concern and let you know what to expect. You might feel a little uncomfortable in group therapy in the beginning, but you should grow closer to the group as you open up and share your experiences. Many groups are nationally based, but you can also find local infertility groups.
